That moment finally arrived in the 84th minute when Patrick Clovert Fongang doubled the hosts’ advantage, converting an assist from Ezikiel Che to seal all three points.

The victory will come as a major relief to head coach Tama Wango, whose patience and continued work with the squad have finally yielded the desired result. After waiting through the opening three matchdays for their first win, the Bamenda outfit can now celebrate a breakthrough in front of their supporters.

Beyond the three points, the clean sheet and two-goal margin will also provide a welcome confidence boost for the Abakwa Boys as they look to build momentum and make their mark in the new campaign.

For Tama Wango and his players, the wait is finally over.
