{"id":29628,"date":"2026-08-28T11:22:20","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T11:22:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=29628"},"modified":"2026-08-28T17:46:41","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T17:46:41","slug":"29628-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/29628-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Alfred Meyong appointed Psychological coach of Canon Yaound\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Angu Lesley<\/p>\n<p>Football Writer,kcik442.com-Cameroon<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Former Cameroon Intermediate Lions defender Alfred Meyong has taken on a new role at Canon Sportif de Yaound\u00e9 after being appointed the club\u2019s psychological trainer.<\/p>\n<p>Meyong, 35, was appointed to the position on 27 August 2026 by Canon\u2019s Director General, Aloys Etoundi, following his decision to step away from active football.<\/p>\n<p>The experienced defender returned to Canon three years ago after a spell with Stade Renard of Melong and went on to complete three consecutive seasons with the Mekok Me Ngonda.<\/p>\n<p>Known for his versatility, discipline and willingness to work for the team, Meyong now moves from the dressing room to a position focused on the mental and psychological preparation of Canon\u2019s players.<\/p>\n<p>His appointment also brings valuable experience from beyond the club level.
