Led by reigning Cameroon Women\u2019s Football Ballon d\u2019Or winner Lys Tiwa Frais, Lekie will be hoping home advantage can inspire them to make history.<\/p>\n<p>Since the CAF Women\u2019s Champions League was launched in 2021 following the inaugural qualifiers in 2020, no Cameroonian club has reached the competition\u2019s group stage. Lekie now have the opportunity to end that wait in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament returns to Cameroon a year after FC Ebolowa represented the country in the 2025 qualifiers.
