{"id":29304,"date":"2026-07-09T14:46:39","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T14:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=29304"},"modified":"2026-07-09T14:49:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T14:49:43","slug":"cameroon-trio-selected-to-officiate-at-wafcon-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/cameroon-trio-selected-to-officiate-at-wafcon-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Cameroon Trio Selected to Officiate at WAFCON 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Angu Lesley\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Football Writer,kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Cameroon will be represented by three match officials at the 2026 Women\u2019s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced its list of referees and assistant referees for the tournament.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FIFA referees Aline Guimbang and Ntangti Innocentia Njang have been selected among the 17 centre referees, while Carine Atezambong is one of the 22 assistant referees appointed for the continental showpiece.<\/p>\n<p>The appointments mark significant milestones for the Cameroonian officials. Ntangti Innocentia Njang will make her WAFCON debut, while Aline Guimbang has earned her second successive appearance at the tournament after making her debut at the previous edition.<\/p>\n<p>For Carine Atezambong, the selection is another landmark in an illustrious officiating career.
