Cameroon forward Karl Toko Ekambi has described former Indomitable Lions coach Clarence Seedorf as \u201cthe worst coach\u201d of his career, saying his spell under the Dutchman was the worst experience he has had in football.<\/p>\n

The worst coach of my career? Clarence Seedorf. It wasn\u2019t just that he was the worst coach; it was the worst experience of my life overall. He arrived when we had an AFCON in Egypt\u2026 honestly, he wasn\u2019t worth it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The comments are particularly significant because they come from one of the most influential Cameroonian internationals of the past decade.<\/p>\n

Toko Ekambi was part of the Cameroon squad that won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations under Hugo Broos and went on to represent the Indomitable Lions at three consecutive AFCON tournaments in 2017, 2019 and 2021, as well as the 2022 FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n
