Cameroon will be aiming to maintain their perfect run in the third window of the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup African Qualifiers when they take on South Sudan on Sunday evening at the Japoma Sports Complex in Douala.<\/p>\n

Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. local time, with the game serving as the third outing for the Indomitable Lions in this qualifying window.<\/p>\n

After back-to-back victories over Cape Verde and Libya, Cameroon head into the clash with confidence and momentum. A third consecutive win would further strengthen their qualification hopes for the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Qatar.<\/p>\n

Led by experienced forward Fabien Ateba, the Cameroonian side has shown resilience and attacking quality throughout the window, producing strong performances to put themselves in a favourable position ahead of the decisive stages of qualification.<\/p>\n

However, they face arguably their toughest challenge yet against a talented South Sudan side that has rapidly established itself as one of Africa\u2019s basketball powerhouses following its impressive performances on the continental and global stage.<\/p>\n
