Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam have officially completed the signing of promising Moroccan left-back Fouad Zahouani from Union Touarga Sport, with the 20-year-old putting pen to paper on a contract that runs until 30 June 2029. The transfer remains subject to the completion of the final administrative formalities.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Zahouani, a product of Morocco\u2019s renowned Mohammed VI Football Academy, joined Union Touarga\u2019s youth ranks in 2024 before earning a rapid promotion to the senior team just six months later. His impressive rise has now been rewarded with a move to one of Europe\u2019s most prestigious talent-development clubs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ajax confirmed that the Moroccan defender will initially join Jong Ajax, the club\u2019s U23 side, where he is expected to continue his development before challenging for a place in the first team.<\/p>\n

On the international stage, Zahouani has enjoyed a remarkable rise. He made his senior debut for Morocco\u2019s local national team in 2025 and later played a key role in the country\u2019s historic triumph at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, further enhancing his reputation as one of Morocco\u2019s brightest defensive prospects.<\/p>\n
