Brazil forward Raphinha has described Morocco as the toughest opponent in the group stage ahead of their FIFA World Cup opener on June 13.<\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated clash, the Barcelona winger admitted that the South American giants are fully aware of the challenge posed by the Atlas Lions, especially after their previous meeting ended in defeat for Brazil.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know Morocco very well. They are the only African country we truly know. We played them before and lost,\u201d Raphinha said.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Brazilian international went on to praise Morocco\u2019s tactical discipline and overall quality, insisting the North Africans deserve respect following their impressive rise on the international stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are an organized selection and a great team. This will be the most anticipated match of the group stage,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Morocco have continued to earn global admiration since becoming the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Their performances against some of world football\u2019s biggest nations have established them as one of the continent\u2019s leading sides.<\/p>\n

Brazil, meanwhile, head into the tournament among the favourites once again, but Raphinha\u2019s comments reflect the caution within the Sele\u00e7\u00e3o camp ahead of the encounter.<\/p>\n

The June 13 showdown is already generating significant attention among football fans worldwide, with many expecting a fiercely contested battle between two technically gifted sides.<\/p>\n
