Against V\u00e5lerenga, however, the Kristiansand-based side finally delivered in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n<p>Jesper Cornelius opened the scoring as early as the 5th minute before Steve Mvoue produced a moment of brilliance to double Start\u2019s advantage later in the first half.<\/p>\n<p>Receiving a long pass from Omar Jebali, the Cameroonian midfielder controlled the ball superbly before lifting a stunning long-range lob over goalkeeper Oscar Hedvall to make it 2-0. The goal capped off an excellent individual display from the former Toulouse player, who dominated midfield with his composure and energy.<\/p>\n<p>Mvoue was substituted in the 65th minute after an impressive performance that earned him one of the highest ratings of the match. The 24-year-old now has two league goals this season and continues to grow in importance for the newly promoted side.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the personal achievement, the victory could prove to be a turning point for IK Start\u2019s campaign.
