17-year-old Nina Ngueleu is amongst the 23 woman indomitable Lioness squad chosen by head coach Gabriel Zabo for the women\u2019s World Cup playoffs this year.<\/p>\n
Nina, represents the Paris Saint Germain U19 squad since the 2020\/21 season at 16 then.<\/p>\n
Known for being pacy and for exhibiting strength in game, the Cameroonian born lass has always plied her trade with PSG\u2019s junior team where she counts 15 goals in 18 games played.<\/p>\n
Her performance in the Club\u2019s junior team, earned her a call up to make two first division appearances.<\/p>\n
Equally, she has featured in three games for PSG\u2019s reserve team. This is her maiden call to the Cameroon senior women\u2019s National team ahead of the World Cup playoff schedule for later this year.<\/p>\n
Her call up to the Lionesses Den comes at a time when the attacking compartment of the team selection needs reinforcement considering the number of aged players.<\/p>\n
She joins team captain, Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene, Inter Milan\u2019s Nchout Njoya Ajara, Abam Micheala, Tabe Brenda who plays for Lekie FC in the Cameroon Guinness super league and currently one of the highest goal scorer alongside Bibout Eliane of Eclair de Sa\u2019a who equals same goal tally as Brenda.<\/p>\n
The Intercontinental playoffs will see Cameroon go against Thailand on February 18, in the Semi finals. Winner of this encounter sets date with Portugal, a final game that will decide who picks up a ticket to the 2023 FIFA women\u2019s World Cup.<\/p>\n
