Former Cameroon international Bertin Ebwell\u00e9 Ndingu\u00e9 has officially been appointed as the new head coach of Panth\u00e8re Sportive du Nd\u00e9, marking a significant return to the dugout for one of the country\u2019s experienced tacticians.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 63-year-old replaces Yves Cl\u00e9ment Arroga, who stepped down from his position on March 31, 2026. The club confirmed the appointment through an official communiqu\u00e9 issued in Bangangt\u00e9, stating that the leadership moved swiftly to fill the vacancy in order to maintain stability within the team. Ebwell\u00e9 will be assisted by Joseph Boniface Ndje Biba as part of the new technical setup.<\/p>\n

Ebwell\u00e9 arrives with a rich coaching r\u00e9sum\u00e9 in Cameroonian football. He has previously managed top-flight sides such as Cotonsport de Garoua, Stade Renard de Melong and TKC, in addition to working with Cameroon\u2019s youth national teams, including the U17 Lions. His vast experience is expected to bring discipline and tactical organization to the Bangangt\u00e9-based side.<\/p>\n

As a player, Bertin Ebwell\u00e9 Ndingu\u00e9 enjoyed an accomplished career. He represented Cameroon at the 1990 FIFA World Cup, where the Indomitable Lions made history by reaching the quarterfinals. He was also part of the squad at the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations. At club level, he featured for Tonnerre Yaound\u00e9, Olympic Mvoly\u00e9, and Indonesian side Persisam Putra Samarinda.<\/p>\n

Panth\u00e8re du Nd\u00e9 expressed confidence that Ebwell\u00e9\u2019s appointment guarantees \u201ccontinuity and ambition\u201d as the club pushes forward in the MTN Elite One championship. The new technical bench has already taken charge and is expected to immediately focus on improving results and steering the team toward its season objectives.<\/p>\n
