Her triumph underscores both her endurance and her tactical intelligence on one of Africa\u2019s most demanding mountain courses.<\/p>\n<p>The Mount Cameroon Race of Hope, stretching between 38 and 42 kilometres depending on category, challenges athletes with extreme elevation gains of over 4,000 metres, rocky and volcanic terrain near the summit, and rapidly changing weather conditions. Starting from the Molyko Omnisport Stadium in Buea, runners must master the punishing climb before safely navigating the technical descent back to the finish line.<\/p>\n<p>Destiny Grace Wirba controlled her pace expertly during the ascent and maintained composure on the treacherous downhill stretch, ultimately crossing the finish line to secure her maiden victory in a highly competitive field.
