The Association Camerounaise de Football \u00e0 7 (ACFA7) will received a delegation from the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Congolaise de Football \u00e0 7 (FECOFOOT7) as part of a working visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and sharing expertise in the development of seven-a-side football.<\/p>\n

The three days visit which starts on Tuesday February 17 follows an official correspondence dated 10 February 2026, signed in Kinshasa by Guy\u2011Phily Nsa Mputu, Secretary-General of FECOFOOT7. In the letter, the Congolese federation formally expressed its intention to establish institutional contact with its Cameroonian counterpart and to organise a visit focused on experience-sharing and long-term collaboration.<\/p>\n

According to the document, FECOFOOT7 is seeking to draw lessons from Cameroon\u2019s progress in structuring and organising seven-a-side football, with discussions expected to cover governance, competition organisation and development strategies.<\/p>\n

In response, ACFA7 confirmed the reception of the Congolese delegation, announcing the arrival of the President of FECOFOOT7 and his team at the association\u2019s headquarters in Douala on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, for a working session and institutional exchanges.<\/p>\n

In an official communiqu\u00e9 signed by Fouth Bayoak Judith Claudia, Secretary-General of ACFA7, the Cameroonian association welcomed the initiative, describing it as a significant step toward deeper cooperation between the two institutions.<\/p>\n

The communiqu\u00e9 noted that FECOFOOT7 had shown strong interest in the work already carried out by ACFA7 in the popularisation and structuring of seven-a-side football in Cameroon, adding that the Congolese delegation aims to learn from Cameroon\u2019s development model to strengthen the discipline in the Democratic Republic of Congo.<\/p>\n

Both associations said the visit reflects a shared commitment to promoting and developing seven-a-side football within the Central African sub-region and across the African continent.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
