Conform\u00e9ment aux engagements pris par la pr\u00e9sidence de la FECAFOOT, une \u00e9tape historique a \u00e9t\u00e9 franchie ce mardi 10 f\u00e9vrier 2026 au Centre d\u2019excellence de la CAF \u00e0 Mbankomo : le lancement officiel du championnat de football jeunes FIFA-TDS U-17.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, dirig\u00e9e par M. Franck Happi (Conseiller du Pr\u00e9sident pour les Comp\u00e9titions) et M. Engelbert Mbarga (Directeur Technique National), a r\u00e9uni le gratin de la formation locale. Une cinquantaine de promoteurs d\u2019acad\u00e9mies, venus des quatre coins du pays, ont r\u00e9pondu pr\u00e9sent, t\u00e9moignant de l&#8217;unit\u00e9 derri\u00e8re ce projet ambitieux.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0Ce championnat n&#8217;est pas qu&#8217;une simple comp\u00e9tition, c&#8217;est le laboratoire du talent camerounais de demain. \u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Structure et Format de la Comp\u00e9tition<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sous l\u2019\u00e9gide de la Ligue de Football Jeunes, repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par M. Michel Kaham et M. Jacques Mahi, le tournoi adopte un format innovant pour garantir une d\u00e9tection efficace sur tout le territoire :<\/p>\n<p>* 54 \u00c9quipes engag\u00e9es : Un d\u00e9ploiement massif pour ne laisser aucun talent de c\u00f4t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>* 4 Zones G\u00e9ographiques : Une phase de poules localis\u00e9e pour optimiser la logistique et la visibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>* Finales Nationales : Le point d&#8217;orgue de la comp\u00e9tition pr\u00e9vu pour mai 2026, o\u00f9 le champion du Cameroun sera couronn\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Professionnalisme et R\u00e9servoir de Talents<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;objectif est clair : sortir de l&#8217;informel. En structurant ce championnat Elite U-17, la FECAFOOT souhaite :<\/p>\n<p>* Professionnaliser les acad\u00e9mies de football.<\/p>\n<p>* Standardiser les m\u00e9thodes de formation via la Direction Technique Nationale.<\/p>\n<p>* Alimenter de mani\u00e8re constante les s\u00e9lections nationales inf\u00e9rieures.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;enthousiasme affich\u00e9 par les membres du Comit\u00e9 Ex\u00e9cutif, dont M. St\u00e9phane Foko Kamga, et l&#8217;accueil chaleureux des promoteurs laissent pr\u00e9sager une \u00e8re dor\u00e9e pour les &#8220;Lions de demain&#8221;.
