The 27\u2011year\u2011old midfielder touched down at Makedonia Airport, where he was greeted by club officials ahead of medical tests and the completion of his contract formalities with Aris.<\/p>\n<p>The deal, structured as a loan through the end of the current season with a mandatory purchase clause worth \u20ac1.3 million, signals Aris\u2019 long\u2011term interest in the Cameroon international. The Greek club sees Hongla as a key reinforcement to bolster their midfield options and add both physical presence and experience in what promises to be a demanding second half of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Hongla\u2019s departure brings an end to his second spell with Granada, where he returned in January 2024 in a \u20ac2.5 million move from Italy\u2019s Hellas Verona.
