Mozambique struck first and lit up the contest in the 23rd minute through Geny Catamo, whose crisp finish from the edge of the box arrowed inside the left post. The goal rewarded the Mambas\u2019 early bravery and tidy possession play, forcing Cameroon to chase the game and adjust their rhythm. For a spell, Mozambique controlled tempo with quick one-touch exchanges, probing a back line that was being reshuffled due to injuries.<\/p>\n
