The coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Rigobert Song has revealed that every group is supposed to have a certain level of discipline in other to succeed.<\/p>\n
The coach made the remarks during post-match exchanges with the press after Cameroon’s three-all draw with Serbia in their second group G match in the ongoing Qatar FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n
“In a group, we need a certain discipline and when you don’t meet the criteria, the coach has to take his responsibilities”, Rigobert Song said.<\/p>\n
“And that is what has been done. For the moment, I have asked him (Andre Onana) to wait, it depends on him to change”, he concluded.<\/p>\n
There was outrage from fans of the indomitable lions when news of Andrew Onana’s suspension went viral in the early hours of Monday.<\/p>\n
Rigobert Song also highlighted that the team has to be given the privilege and not individuals while adding that nobody is questioning the performance of Andre Onana.<\/p>\n
All is now left to be seen if Andre Onana will return for Cameroon’s last group G match against Brazil.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Davis Epassy told the media that Onana encouraged him and gave him courage when he learned Davis will be starting against Serbia.<\/p>\n
Despite conceding 3 goals, Epassy says he has the zeal to start the next match.<\/p>\n
