The Cameroonian winger scored five goals and provided four assists in 27 appearances, proving himself one of the team\u2019s few bright sparks, even as relegation loomed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The final day of the season offered a last chance for survival. Meizhou Hakka travelled to face Beijing Guoan, whose squad featured fellow Cameroonian Michael Ngadeu, knowing only a win could keep their top-flight dreams alive. But Hakka were undone in spectacular fashion, suffering a 5\u20131 defeat, with Ngom Mbekeli contributing an assist \u2014 a moment of brilliance in an otherwise dismal display.<\/p>\n<p>It was a cruel end for a side that had battled all season, collecting points inconsistently and often conceding at the worst possible moments.
