{"id":2546,"date":"2023-01-23T20:39:39","date_gmt":"2023-01-23T20:39:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=2546"},"modified":"2023-01-23T20:39:39","modified_gmt":"2023-01-23T20:39:39","slug":"blow-njie-clinton-suffers-muscle-injury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/blow-njie-clinton-suffers-muscle-injury\/","title":{"rendered":"BLOW: Njie Clinton suffers muscle injury"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sivasspor forward Njie Clinton Mua is set to be out for a number of weeks after he suffered a groin injury against in the Turkish Cup 16 final game against Teco Karacabey Belediye Spor.<\/p>\n<p>The Cameroon international could be out for close to six weeks per history of the nature of the injury his club has revealed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Clinton Njie was injured in the recent round of the Turkish Cup matches. He will be out of action for several weeks with a torn thigh,&#8221; Sivasspor wrote before adding:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our player Clinton Njie, who was injured in the 84th minute of the Turkish Ziraat Cup last 16 match against TECO Karacabey Belediye Spor in Kayseri and had to leave the match, was checked and a slight tear was detected in the upper left back muscle. The treatment of our athlete has started,&#8221; Sivasspor said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The injury amounts to a interruption to the Cameroon international&#8217;s season in which he has scored three goals in 19 appearances in all competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Njie joined Sivasspor last summer from Russian side CSKA Moscow with the calls from his fans to redeem his career very loud.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, injuries don&#8217;t the former Tottenham Hotspur and Marseille forward to return to his personal best.<\/p>\n<p>The current injury is the seventh in the career of the former Olympique Lyonnais forward whose career started at the famous EFBC some 15 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The Buea-born Cameroon international who won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017 and finished third in 2021 has scored ten goals in 42 caps for his country.<\/p>\n<p>For Cameroon, Njie has featured in four AFCON tournaments and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup tournament in Russia.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright 2023\u00a9kick442.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
