The former Bayelsa Queens coach, who initially took charge in 2024, has earned plaudits for steadying the team and restoring its competitive edge on the continental stage.<\/p>\n<p>Madugu guided Nigeria through a convincing qualification campaign, ensuring the Super Falcons\u2019 place at next year\u2019s WAFCON, and will now oversee their preparations for another tilt at global success in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very pleased with the progress under Coach Madugu,\u201d an NFF statement read. \u201cHis work ethic, technical discipline, and connection with the players reflect the values we want for the national team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Under his guidance, a new generation of Super Falcons stars \u2014 blending home-based talents with experienced internationals \u2014 has emerged, promising a bright future for Africa\u2019s most successful women\u2019s football side.<\/p>\n<p>Madugu\u2019s new contract is expected to provide the stability needed as Nigeria aim for a record-extending 12th WAFCON crown and a deeper run at the next Women\u2019s World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Justine Madugu is one of Nigeria\u2019s most respected women\u2019s football tacticians, renowned for his calm authority and commitment to player development.
