{"id":25116,"date":"2025-10-26T14:30:26","date_gmt":"2025-10-26T14:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=25116"},"modified":"2025-10-26T16:25:25","modified_gmt":"2025-10-26T16:25:25","slug":"vincent-aboubakar-marks-neftci-debut-with-decisive-strike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/vincent-aboubakar-marks-neftci-debut-with-decisive-strike\/","title":{"rendered":"Vincent Aboubakar marks Neft\u00e7i debut with decisive strike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Angu Lesley Ngwa Akonwi<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Football Writer,kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Indomitable Lions&#8217; skipper Vincent Aboubakar made a dream debut for Neft\u00e7i Baku, scoring his first goal for the club in a 2\u20130 away win over Gabala FK in the Azerbaijan Premier League this Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old had been without a club since leaving Turkish side Hatayspor in May following their relegation from the Super Lig, but wasted no time in marking his return to club competitive football with a decisive performance.<\/p>\n<p>After a tight and goalless first half in Gabala, Ifeanyi Mathew opened the scoring in the 72nd minute with a precise low strike to give Neft\u00e7i the breakthrough.<\/p>\n<p>Just eight minutes later, Aboubakar who had replaced Sambou a few minutes earlier sealed the win, reacting quickest inside the box to fire home and secure all three points for the visitors.<\/p>\n<p>The result lifts Neft\u00e7i Baku to seventh place in the Azerbaijan Premier League standings with 12 points, just six points behind leaders Turan Tovuz (18).<\/p>\n<p>Qaraba\u011f FK and Zira FK remain close contenders with 16 points each, while Sabail, Sumqay\u0131t, and Sabah FK complete the top six.
