Brys, who arrived in Yaound\u00e9 last year on a three-year deal, has endured a strained relationship with the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) <\/strong>since his appointment. Despite having the full backing of the state<\/strong>, his rapport with the federation leadership\u2014particularly president Samuel Eto\u2019o\u2014has been uneasy, with disagreements over team selection, administrative control, and communication channels.<\/p>\n

Reports reaching us now have it that, several influential figures within Fecafoot\u2019s executive committee<\/strong> are already discussing potential successors for Brus who has only lost one of his 15 games in charge of Cameroon. Insiders say Paul Put<\/strong> has impressed decision-makers with his track record across the continent and his ability to handle complex football environments.<\/p>\n

For now, Brys is expected to lead Cameroon in next month\u2019s Africa Cup of Nations playoff in Morocco, but sources indicate that failure to qualify could spell the end of his tenure.<\/p>\n
