Despite achieving the club\u2019s main objective, Biba was relieved of his duties soon after, with the club citing the need for \u201cgreater experience and long-term ambition\u201d ahead of their return to the national stage.<\/p>\n<p>Belinga, 61, arrives from <strong>Yong Sports Academy (YOSA)<\/strong> of Bamenda, who were relegated from the <strong>Elite One<\/strong> last season. The veteran tactician \u2014 a former assistant coach of Cameroon\u2019s national team \u2014 has been tasked with consolidating Sable\u2019s place in the second division and pushing for a quick return to the top flight.<\/p>\n<p>Sable FC, one of Cameroon\u2019s most storied clubs, are seeking to revive their past glory. They famously won the <strong>Cameroon Premier League in 1999<\/strong>, but have spent much of the last decade outside the country\u2019s top divisions.<\/p>\n<p>Belinga was previously linked with <strong>PWD Bamenda<\/strong> earlier in the transfer window before accepting Sable\u2019s offer. His appointment signals the club\u2019s ambition to move beyond mere survival in Elite Two and build a team capable of challenging for promotion.<\/p>\n<p>For the fans in Bati\u00e9, expectations are high.
