Their absence presents a major test for coach <strong>Marc Brys<\/strong> ahead of Tuesday\u2019s <strong>5pm kick-off at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaound\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ngadeu, 33, who plays for <strong>Beijing Guoan<\/strong> in China, remains one of Cameroon\u2019s most reliable defenders and was a pillar of the team that won the <strong>2017 Africa Cup of Nations<\/strong>. His leadership, aerial strength and composure have long been vital to the Indomitable Lions\u2019 defensive stability.<\/p>\n<p>Ngamaleu, 30, currently with <strong>Dynamo Moscow<\/strong>, has been a consistent presence on the flanks, combining tireless work rate with creativity in attack. A veteran of multiple AFCONs and World Cup qualifiers, he continues to bring balance and experience to the side.<\/p>\n<p>In Ngadeu\u2019s absence, Brys could turn to <strong>Nouhou Tolo<\/strong>, who impressed in an improvised central defensive role against Mauritius, while <strong>Jean-Charles Castelletto<\/strong>, <strong>Samuel Kotto<\/strong>, or even <strong>Carlos Baleba<\/strong> could be considered as alternatives at the heart of defence.<\/p>\n<p>Cameroon currently sit second in <strong>Group D<\/strong> and remain firmly in the race for a spot at the <strong>2026 FIFA World Cup though it depends on Cape Verde Islands dropping points at home to Eswatini<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With the team showing signs of growing cohesion under Brys, a win over Angola and an eventual qualification for the USA,Mexico and Canada showpiece of next year would further strengthen their push to return to football\u2019s biggest stage.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92025 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
