Cameroon captain Vincent Aboubakar says the Indomitable Lions will \u201cgive everything\u201d as they prepare for a decisive final Group D match against Angola, scheduled for Monday at 3pm in Yaound\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cameroon must win and hope that Cape Verde<\/strong> slip in their final match in order to snatch the automatic qualification spot for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery match is important. The last match is even more important. We\u2019re going to give our all to win it,\u201d<\/strong> Aboubakar said.
\n\u201cThe group has always been solid and will always remain solid.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\n

Fate Not Entirely in Cameroon\u2019s Hands<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cameroon do not completely command their destiny. Even a victory over Angola will not guarantee qualification. They must hope Cape Verde fail to beat Libya. Only then would Cameroon leapfrog them to the top of the group.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no pressure,\u201d<\/strong> Aboubakar added.
\n\u201cWe\u2019ll try to finish this competition on a high note and then we\u2019ll see what the others do. Our fate is not in our hands. If God thinks of us, He will do something to help us go through as one of the best second-placed teams.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
