Ghana delivered a ruthless second-half display to crush the Central African Republic 5\u20130 at the Ben M\u2019Hamed El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida, strengthening their grip on Group I and edging closer to qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a patient opening half that saw Mohammed Salisu<\/strong> head the Black Stars into the lead, Ghana ran riot after the interval with goals from Thomas Partey<\/strong>, Alexander Djiku<\/strong>, Jordan Ayew<\/strong>, and Kamaldeen Sulemana<\/strong> to record their biggest win of the campaign.<\/p>\n

First half \u2014 Salisu breaks the deadlock<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Otto Addo\u2019s side made a confident start, dictating play through the midfield pairing of Thomas Partey<\/strong> and Elisha Owusu<\/strong> while Mohammed Kudus<\/strong> operated freely between the lines.

The breakthrough finally came in the 37th minute when Mohammed Salisu<\/strong>, one of Ghana\u2019s central defenders, rose highest to meet Kudus\u2019 curling corner and directed a firm header into the net \u2014 his first goal of the qualifiers.<\/p>\n
