Cameroonian forward Bil Nsongo has been voted September Player of the Month in Spain\u2019s Segunda Federaci\u00f3n, after a sparkling start to the season with Deportivo Fabril, the reserve team of Deportivo La Coru\u00f1a.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 21-year-old striker has directly contributed to six goals in the opening rounds of the campaign \u2014 scoring five and assisting one \u2014 as Fabril made a strong push in Group 1 of Spain\u2019s fourth division.<\/p>\n

Nsongo\u2019s pace, power and instinctive finishing have quickly made him one of the division\u2019s standout performers. His efforts have also fuelled Fabril\u2019s hopes of promotion and strengthened his own chances of earning a first-team debut with Deportivo this season.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThis award means a lot. It\u2019s a reward for the work I\u2019ve put in, but also for my teammates who make it possible every weekend,\u201d Nsongo said after receiving the accolade.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Yaound\u00e9 to Galicia<\/em><\/p>\n

Born in Yaound\u00e9, Cameroon, Bil Dornol Nsongo Tonfack is a graduate of Cameroon\u2019s National Football Academy (ANAFOOT), the elite training centre established by the government to nurture the country\u2019s most promising young players.<\/p>\n

After progressing through ANAFOOT, Nsongo later featured for Canon Sportif of Yaound\u00e9, one of Cameroon\u2019s most historic clubs, where his eye for goal and athleticism drew attention from scouts abroad.<\/p>\n

His performances earned him a move to Deportivo La Coru\u00f1a in 2024, where he joined Deportivo Fabril, the club\u2019s B team. Nsongo adapted swiftly to Spanish football, standing out for his strength, pressing ability and finishing instinct.<\/p>\n

During his debut season (2024\u201325), he made around 30 appearances, scoring five goals and establishing himself as a key attacking option. His rise convinced the club to extend his stay until 2026.<\/p>\n

A rising Cameroonian talent<\/em><\/p>\n

Now in his second season in Spain, Nsongo\u2019s form has made him one of the most exciting young African players in the lower divisions. His name has already been mentioned in conversations around Deportivo\u2019s senior squad, with the coaching staff monitoring his progress closely.<\/p>\n

Still only 21, the ANAFOOT product is widely regarded as part of the next wave of Cameroonian talents making their mark in Europe \u2014 and could soon earn a call-up to Cameroon\u2019s youth or senior national teams if his momentum continues.<\/p>\n
