We wish you many victories in the 2025-2026 season in the red-black jersey.\u201d)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The 24-year-old forward began her career at \u00c9clair Football Academy of Saa, a respected Cameroonian outfit whose honorary president is national team goalkeeper Andr\u00e9 Onana. Takounda\u2019s rise through the academy ranks showcased her blend of strength, pace, and finishing ability, which soon earned her national recognition.<\/p>\n<p>She represented the Indomitable Lionesses at the 2019 FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup in France, featuring in Cameroon\u2019s dramatic run to the Round of 16. Takounda was also part of the squad at the 2022 Women\u2019s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, where Cameroon reached the knockout stages before narrowly missing out on World Cup qualification.<\/p>\n<p>After a spell in France with Olympique de Marseille F\u00e9minin, she moved to Turkey and impressed with Beylerbeyi S.K., prompting interest from several clubs before sealing a move to Fatih Vatan.
