{"id":24265,"date":"2025-10-06T18:30:21","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T18:30:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=24265"},"modified":"2025-10-06T18:30:21","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T18:30:21","slug":"china-outclass-cameroon-4-1-in-mohammedia-friendly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/china-outclass-cameroon-4-1-in-mohammedia-friendly\/","title":{"rendered":"China Outclass Cameroon 4\u20131 in Mohammedia Friendly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Angu Lesley Ngwa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Football Writer,kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Cameroon\u2019s Under-17 women\u2019s side suffered a 4\u20131 defeat to China in Morocco as they continue preparations for the upcoming World Cup.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Lionesses of Cameroon suffered a heavy 4\u20131 defeat to China in a pre-World Cup friendly played on Sunday in Mohammedia, Morocco.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cameroon\u2019s captain Tiwa Lys Fraiche scored the team\u2019s only goal of the afternoon, but the Chinese side proved far superior, dominating possession and punishing defensive lapses from the Central Africans.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first game in charge for new head coach Josephine Ndoumou Mike who took over from Joseph Brian Ndoko just a week ago.\u00a0 The young side struggled to adapt to new instructions and failed to match China\u2019s tempo throughout the encounter.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Coaching change controversy<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The change in the technical bench has sparked debate at home, with critics questioning the timing of the decision so close to the Under-17 Women\u2019s World Cup, which begins in mid-October.<\/p>\n<p>The Cameroon Football Federation has faced scrutiny after replacing Ndoko, the coach who guided the team to qualification. Media reports have linked the change to ongoing investigations into alleged misconduct involving members of the technical staff \u2014 allegations which have not been independently verified.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Focus turns to Morocco<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cameroon will have a few days to regroup before facing host nation Morocco on 10 October in their second warm-up match. The Lionesses are expected to play three friendlies in total before heading into their World Cup campaign.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>World Cup return<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year marks Cameroon\u2019s first appearance at the Under-17 Women\u2019s World Cup since 2018.
