Idriss Nfor Finya has completed a move to Jamus FC of South Sudan from Colombe of Dja and Lobo as a free agent following the end of his Colombe contract.<\/p>\n
Nfor who hasn’t been registered by Colombe for the CAF Champions League joins Jamus for an undisclosed duration.<\/p>\n
The information was revealed by Nsonyi Amstrong via Evrad Geraud platform this weekend, sparking outrage on social media on how ‘the best’ club in the land will transfer out one of its best facets in the same week they were drawn against Senegalese giants Jaraaf in the CAF Champions League.<\/p>\n
Nfor spent four glorious seasons at Colombe, during which he was part of a golden generation of players that won the first trophies for the club.<\/p>\n
The 2025 Cameroon keeper of the year joined the Sudanese club earlier this week, becoming the third Cameroonian at the club that already had Etta Bawak Thomas and Rodrique Georges Mfegue on their books.<\/p>\n
Nfor, winner of the 2025 MTN Elite One championship, the Cameroon Super Cup and the Cup of Cameroon arrives the ambitious club with a huge reputation and expectation on him as Jamus hopes of the owners on his shoulders.<\/p>\n
The Cameroon international has already joined his new team mates in pre-season activities as they prepare to face eternal rivals Al Hilal Omdurman in the preliminaries of the CAF Champions League next month at home and away.<\/p>\n
Colombe will be hoping his deputies who were registered before the CAF deadline of July 31 step into the big boots and perform from the start of the coming season.<\/p>\n
Should Richard Towa’s men navigate the two preliminary rounds and get into the group stage of the CAF Champions League, they will be the first Club from the MTN Elite One championship to achieve that feat since Cotonsport in 2022.<\/p>\n
