Batoum is the second player from the 2023 Elite Two champions to join the Algerian giants in less than three years, following in the footsteps of Leonel Ateba.<\/strong><br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eBatoum arrives at USM Alger on the back of a stellar season where he was Dynamo&#8217;s top scorer and one of only four players to bag a hat-trick in the league.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\nHis impressive form also earned him a national team call-up for the Africa Series competition in Morocco, where he even found the back of the net on his debut.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\nHis departure leaves a significant void at Dynamo de Douala, as Batoum&#8217;s brilliance was instrumental in their Elite One survival this past season. Finding a suitable replacement will undoubtedly be the club&#8217;s immediate priority.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200e Batoum won&#8217;t be the only Cameroonian making the move to Algeria. Che Malone, the former Cotonsport of Garoua defender, is expected to finalize his move from Simba SC to USM Alger this Wednesday, July 23.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200e This transfer comes as a result of a mutual agreement between both clubs.
