The Atlas Lions of Morocco have stunned Belgium 2#0 to edge towards qualification from Group F at the ongoing FIFA world cup in Qatar.<\/p>\n

Goals from Zakaria Aboukhlal and Abdelhamid Sabiri secured Morocco’s famous win over Belgium at the grandest stage of them all – the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Abdelhamid Sabiri scored from a dangerous freekick from a tight angle before fellow substitute Zakaria Aboukhal scored the second from an Hakim Ziyech assist in stoppage time.<\/p>\n

Sabiri’s 73rd-minute free kick from near the corner flag caught out Thibaut Courtois at his near post.<\/p>\n

Aboukhal’s goal came from a counter-attack set up by Hakim Ziyech as Belgium we’re caught pressing forward for the equalizer.<\/p>\n

Morocco’s victory is only their third-ever victory in the FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n

The North Africans had earlier found the back of the net before half time but VAR found Romain Saiss offside.<\/p>\n

Morocco’s victory takes them to 4 points in two games while Belgium is second with 3 points.<\/p>\n
