The victory for Costa Rica has opened the situation of Group E as Spain, Japan, and now Costa Rica sit on three points apiece, with the Spaniards set to play Germany later on.<\/p>\n
After a lively opening exchange from the Japanese, the first half would be defined by the lack of clear-cut opportunities and both teams\u2019 sloppiness in building play and creating meaningful chances.<\/p>\n

Keylor Navas, the Costa Rica goalkeeper was the hero for the CONCACAF side late on as he denied Kamada from point-blank range in injury time, as they grabbed all three points.<\/p>\n
