The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the postponement of Kano Pillars FC’s highly anticipated Matchday 14 home clash against Enyimba International of Aba. The match, initially slated for Sunday, December 1, 2024, has been postponed to an unconfirmed date due to Enyimba’s engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage fixtures.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a statement issued by the league organizers, the NPFL assured fans of both clubs that a new date and time for the iconic encounter, popularly referred to as the “Zobia Clasico,” will be communicated in due course. This rescheduling underlines the league\u2019s commitment to ensuring fair play and accommodating Nigerian clubs competing on the continental stage.<\/p>\n

In a related development, Kano Pillars FC’s Matchday 13 away fixture against Lobi Stars has been brought forward to Saturday, November 23, 2024. The match will now take place at the Lafia City Stadium, a change necessitated by adjustments to the league calendar.<\/p>\n
