{"id":19683,"date":"2024-08-29T08:21:34","date_gmt":"2024-08-29T08:21:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=19683"},"modified":"2024-08-29T08:21:34","modified_gmt":"2024-08-29T08:21:34","slug":"tawamba-switch-to-al-tai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/tawamba-switch-to-al-tai\/","title":{"rendered":"Tawamba switch to Al Tai"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><strong>34YO Tawamba has taken a step downwards by joining Al Tai<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The defender cum striker is hoping to improve the club that remains winless after two League games<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Veteran Cameroonian forward L\u00e9andre Ga\u00ebl Tawamba Kana has completed a switch to Saudi Arabia First Division side Al Tai on a one-year contract with an option for an additional season.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 34-year-old was signed and unveiled on Wednesday by the club management in an effort to improve their frontline for the rest of the new season.<\/p>\n<p>The second tier club becomes the third Saudi Arabia outfit the Al Tawoon legend will represent after spending last season at Al-Okhdood Club, where he scored five goals in 29 appearances for the club.<\/p>\n<p>This switch to the Knight of The North is a massive recruitment for the club owned by the country&#8217;s ministry of Sports as they hope to build a formidable squad for coach Aleksandar Ili\u0107 to achieve a return to the Saudi Pro League after just a season in the second tier.<\/p>\n<p>Al Tai have had a slow start of the season, scoring just one point from two games so far, which leaves them in the relegation zone.<\/p>\n<p>Tawamba has joined his mates in training and could make his debut on Friday away to Al Ain in a fixture counting for match day three of the Division One championship.<\/p>\n<p>If Tawamba hits the performances he is noted for, he time on the books of the club will create good memories for all involved as he did at Al Tawoon.<\/p>\n<p>The man who played for Cameroon&#8217;s U-20 and senior national team on eight occasions but never featured in a senior major tournament.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92024 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
