{"id":18367,"date":"2024-06-30T19:10:31","date_gmt":"2024-06-30T19:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=18367"},"modified":"2024-07-02T08:34:30","modified_gmt":"2024-07-02T08:34:30","slug":"exclusive-2024-national-interpools-postponed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/exclusive-2024-national-interpools-postponed\/","title":{"rendered":"Exclusive: 2024 National Interpools postponed"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><strong>The 2024 National Interpools will not start on July 1\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>So far only six regions have had their champions for the ten regions competition<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The center region will host the competition with matches to be played in Mbankomo and Odza but the region is yet to produce it&#8217;s representative\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The 2024 national playoffs for promotion to the MTN Elite Two championship (Interpools) will not begin this Monday as initially signaled by the competitions department of Cameroon Football federation (FECAFOOT), kick442.com can exclusively reveal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FECAFOOT had announced the competition was to begin on July 1 and run till July 15 but we understand that plan is now off the table due to logistics challenges and delays in completion of the Littoral, North, Center and South Regional championships.<\/p>\n<p>This Pan-African sports News Agency has information in good authority that officials of FECAFOOT will announce a new date for the start of the event in the hours ahead.<\/p>\n<p>We understand the competition which is expected to assemble ten Regional champions to compete in two groups of five could be delayed by a month to allow related institutions complete their part of the bargain.<\/p>\n<p>So far the champions of the Volcan of the West Region, Southwest&#8217;s Buea United FC, Girondins Athletic FC of\u00a0 Adamawa, regulars Abong Mbang of the East Region, interpools debutants Options Sports Academy of the Northwest and Far North&#8217;s Sporting of Maroua have secured their place in the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The South Region will produce it&#8217;s champions on Monday, while the North Regional championship will climax this week.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for the organizers, the hosts region center has suffered double delays &#8211; the strike action from match officials and the pause to see out delayed matches due to late issuance of licenses for Vent D&#8217;Etoudi has kept the championship at the group stage till this moment. The same fate is shared by the Littoral championship that just resumed the second round.<\/p>\n<p>The situation of the Littoral and Center Regional championships plus the announced ultimatum on compensation payment before the start of the interpools from the national Referees Association are the main preoccupation of the interpools organizers now as they push to start soonest.<\/p>\n<p>Clubs through to the 2024 National Interpools:<\/p>\n<p>West &#8211; Volcan FC of the Noun<\/p>\n<p>East &#8211; Union Sportif of Abongbang<\/p>\n<p>Southwest &#8211; Buea United Football Club<\/p>\n<p>Northwest &#8211; Options Sports Academy of Bamenda<\/p>\n<p>Centre &#8211; TBC<\/p>\n<p>Littoral -TBC<\/p>\n<p>South &#8211; Djoum Sports or Atlantic of Kribi<\/p>\n<p>Adamawa -Girondins Athletic of Ngaoundere<\/p>\n<p>North &#8211; TBC<\/p>\n<p>Far North &#8211; Sporting FC of Maroua<\/p>\n<p>When all ten clubs to participate in the competition will be known, FECAFOOT will ask them to submit their list of players for verification and publication after which they will ask clubs to submit their complaints about their opponents players within a timeframe after which the tournament will begin with no team allowed to benefit from players qualification issues.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92024 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
