{"id":18189,"date":"2024-06-26T03:34:56","date_gmt":"2024-06-26T03:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=18189"},"modified":"2024-06-26T03:34:56","modified_gmt":"2024-06-26T03:34:56","slug":"uniffac-opens-physios-capacity-building-workshop-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/uniffac-opens-physios-capacity-building-workshop-today\/","title":{"rendered":"UNIFFAC opens Physios capacity building workshop today"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><em>UNIFFAC will begin training tenths of female Physiotherapists from across the sub region this Wednesday<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The two days event is aimed at improving the knowledge of the medical professionals vis-a-vis their interventions during matches, with hopes of making football safer<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>UNIFFAC&#8217;s Executive Director Martin Etonge will oversee the process per the CAF guidelines\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Union of Central African Football Federation (UNIFFAC) will start a two-day workshop to build and improve the capacity of women physiotherapists in the sub region this Wednesday, at the Vallee De Prince Hotel in Douala.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event coordinated by the body&#8217;s Cameroonian born Executive Director, Martin Etonge has put together some of the best experts in the domain from Central Africa who will spend Wednesday and Thursday trying to pass knowledge to the next generation of women serving as physiotherapists in football.<\/p>\n<p>The CAF recommended event is happening a few months after UNIFFAC held another successful capacity building event for other fields in DR Congo in the sidelines of the African schools championship.<\/p>\n<p>Experts like Dr Aboubakari Sidiki, Yasser Abdelrahman, Sherif Abou El will deliver lessons on different aspects on the job of a physio. The scope of activities which ranges from dealing with muscles problems, anti dopage, heart palpitations, cases of concoction amongst others will constitute their points of interest.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, evolution of the job of Physiotherapists and their impact have made them crucial elements in the football industry. This explains UNIFFAC&#8217;s move to quickly allign with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) recommendation to adopt training them in the capacity building project that Referees, aspiring Media officers, Doctors, match Commissioners have already benefited from.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the event, UNIFFAC will become the latest zone to complete this move aimed at making the sports safer for all that engage in it in one way or the other.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92024 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
