She claimed the title of French N2 junior champion in 2019, showcasing her burgeoning talent early on.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a setback in 2024, where she narrowly missed Olympic qualification in Algiers, losing to Tunisia&#8217;s Yasmine Daghfous with a score of 10-15, Lorina demonstrated resilience and determination.<\/p>\n<p>Later that year, Lorina rebounded spectacularly to secure the African champion title in Casablanca, seizing the opportunity in the absence of the favored competitor, Saoussen Boudiaf.<\/p>\n<p>The 22nd African Fencing Championships unfolded from June 6 to 10, 2024, in the vibrant city of Casablanca, Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted at the Salle Mohamed V indoor sporting arena, the event saw participation from fencers across 18 nations. While Egypt led the medal tally with a total of 22 medals, Tunisia followed with three.<\/p>\n<p>Kenya and Cameroon proudly shared third place, each earning a gold medal.
