With 43 goals now scored, he has tied Roger Milla&#8217;s record as the second-highest goalscorer for Cameroon.<\/p>\n<p>The Besiktas player netted a brace in Cameroon&#8217;s 4-1 win over cape verde on Saturday in the World cup qualifiers.<\/p>\n<p>This remarkable achievement places him as the second-highest goalscorer for the national team, trailing only behind the illustrious Samuel Eto&#8217;o, who leads with 56 goals.<\/p>\n<p>Aboubakar&#8217;s international debut came in May 2010, and since then, he has been a cornerstone of the Cameroonian national team.<\/p>\n<p>He has been part of the squads for the 2010, 2014, and 2022 FIFA World Cups, as well as multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.<\/p>\n<p>His high moments include scoring the winning goal in the final of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and emerging as the top goalscorer in the 2021 edition.<\/p>\n<p>Aboubakar&#8217;s ability to perform under pressure has been a hallmark of his career.
