{"id":17606,"date":"2024-05-31T21:16:26","date_gmt":"2024-05-31T21:16:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=17606"},"modified":"2024-06-01T03:33:00","modified_gmt":"2024-06-01T03:33:00","slug":"ums-of-loum-relegated-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/ums-of-loum-relegated-again\/","title":{"rendered":"UMS of Loum Relegated Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><em>UMS of Loum Loum, has been relegated to the Littoral Regional League<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The club faced general forfeiture by the Cameroon Homologation and Disciplinary Commission after an abrupt end to their playoff match against Aigle of the Menoua on the last day<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>This 2015 cup of Cameroon winners return to the third division after eleven years<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>UMS of Loum, a two-time champion in Cameroon, has been relegated to the littoral regional league.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The club faced general forfeiture by the Cameroon Homologation and Disciplinary Commission after an abrupt end to their playoff match against Aigle of the Menoua on the last day.<\/p>\n<p>During match day 11 against Aigle Royale of Menoua, UMS of Loum&#8217;s president, Pierre Kwemo, made an unprecedented decision: he had the players withdraw from the pitch.<\/p>\n<p>This drastic action was taken to dispute a dubious penalty awarded to the opposition in the 75th minute, with the scoreline tied at one goal apiece.<\/p>\n<p>President Kwemo and his wives had received a five-year suspension from the Homologation and Disciplinary Commission of FECAFOOT back in July 2023.<\/p>\n<p>UMS of Loum had previously failed to honor their game against CFF Les Champions du Garoua in the round of 32 of the Cameroon Cup.<\/p>\n<p>The club had already been relegated to the second-tier championship after finishing in eighth place in the relegation playdown.<\/p>\n<p>The last time UMS featured in the littoral regional league was in 2011-2012.
