{"id":17263,"date":"2024-05-21T08:41:58","date_gmt":"2024-05-21T08:41:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=17263"},"modified":"2024-05-21T08:41:58","modified_gmt":"2024-05-21T08:41:58","slug":"bello-bourdanne-elected-president-of-cavb-zone-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/bello-bourdanne-elected-president-of-cavb-zone-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Bello Bourdanne Elected President of CAVB Zone 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><strong>The president of the Cameroon Volleyball Federation (Fecavolley), Bello Bourdanne, has achieved a historic milestone by being elected as the president of zone 4 of the African volleyball Confederation (CAVB zone 4)<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>This marks the first time a Cameroonian has held this position within the sub-regional body<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Bourdanne&#8217;s leadership style emphasizes consensus-building and aims to elevate volleyball in Central Africa.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bello Bourdanne, the president of the Cameroon Volleyball Federation (Fecavolley), has been elected as the president of CAVB Zone 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The election was conducted by acclamation during an elective general assembly in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, on May 18.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement is unprecedented, as it marks the first time a Cameroonian leader has taken the helm of this sub-regional body.<\/p>\n<p>In his inaugural statement, Bourdanne expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to develop and advance the region. His plans include addressing challenges such as geographical distances between countries by creating sub-zones and fostering competition at the African championships level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn an African way and in a consensual manner, the zone has decided to put me at the head for the next four years. I thank them and I hope to be up to the task of developing and projecting our area.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI say we should work to make volleyball in our area grow. We have specific problems, notably the distance between countries. And it&#8217;s not easy. We have plans to compensate for this, in particular the creation of sub-zones and especially emulation at the level of competition zones which are qualified for the African championships,&#8221; Bourdanne explained.<\/p>\n<p>Bourdanne aims to build upon the foundation laid by his predecessor, Christian Matata Shwit.
