{"id":17139,"date":"2024-05-12T06:27:09","date_gmt":"2024-05-12T06:27:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=17139"},"modified":"2024-05-12T06:35:55","modified_gmt":"2024-05-12T06:35:55","slug":"fary-faye-reveals-plans-after-landing-boavista-presidential-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/fary-faye-reveals-plans-after-landing-boavista-presidential-position\/","title":{"rendered":"Fary Faye reveals plans after landing Boavista presidential position"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Fary Faye moved from lead striker to captain to Sports Director to head of administration and now the president of the club<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Faye has vowed to make the club more transparent and credible during his four year mandate\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Boavista is battling against relegation from the Portuguese top-flight championship and it is hoped Faye can make them a different proposition\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Newly-elected Boavista president Fary Faye has promised to make the club great again via improvement of credibility and transparency during his era at the helm of the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 49-year-old former striker of the club who was voted president by 99% of the votes this week to replace departed V\u00edtor Murta is keen on improving the institution from the one he inherited in the relegation zone in the Portuguese Boavista.<\/p>\n<p>Faye who played for the club before becoming their sporting director promised a better Boavista on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The experienced football man to make Boavista \u201ccredible, transparent and respected\u201d,\u00a0 the day after the unprecedented election for the presidency of SAD, responsible for the administration of &#8216;checkered&#8217; professional football.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s what I promise, in defending the values of our home. I accept this challenge with the usual humility, commitment and determination, aware of the legacy I carry and the responsibilities linked to a position of this size,\u201d Faye said.<\/p>\n<p>Faye, who played for Boavista in two phases (2003-2008 and 2012-2015) and began holding management positions at the structure nine years ago has a lot to do between the 2024-2026 mandate.<\/p>\n<p>Faye has a tough job of rebuilding the club internally and externally. Jos\u00e9 Carmelo Fraile and Pepe Roibas for example had resigned from their positions in disagreement with Fary&#8217;s predecessor, but are now back on the board of directors on the recommendation of Gerard L\u00f3pez, who maintains three elements at the top of the board.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am fully aware of the problems of the present.
