{"id":16976,"date":"2024-05-05T10:00:23","date_gmt":"2024-05-05T10:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=16976"},"modified":"2024-05-05T10:22:48","modified_gmt":"2024-05-05T10:22:48","slug":"zamalek-giza-secures-back-to-back-titles-at-the-37th-womens-african-volleyball-club-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/zamalek-giza-secures-back-to-back-titles-at-the-37th-womens-african-volleyball-club-championship\/","title":{"rendered":"Zamalek retains Title at 37th Women&#8217;s African Volleyball Club Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Zamalek Giza of Egypt triumphed for the second year in a row at the 37th Women&#8217;s African Volleyball Club Championship, overcoming Al Ahly in a nail-biting 3-2 final.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Cameroon&#8217;s teams, Litto Team Volleyball Club and Mayo Kani Evolution, finished commendably in 6th and 8th places.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The championship concluded with the announcement of the Dream Team, largely dominated by players from Egypt and Kenya<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the second consecutive year, Zamalek Giza has emerged as the champions of the Women&#8217;s African Volleyball Club Championship, held in Cairo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Their victory was clinched through a gripping final against ten time champions Al Ahly, ending in a 3-2 scoreline, with Milca Lubieska da Silva leading the charge with a 20-point contribution.<\/p>\n<p>This win has earned them the right to compete at December\u2019s 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women\u2019s Club World Championship.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Cameroon&#8217;s contenders, Litto Team Volleyball Club and Mayo Kani Evolution, showed strong performances, but fell out of the top five , finishing at the 6th and 8th spots, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Kenya Pipeline claimed the bronze medal after a decisive win over Kenya Commercial Bank.
