Confluence Queens FC will on Wednesday, 24th April, 2024 lock horns with their close rival Nasarawa Amazons in a highly-anticipated derby game of the NWFL match Day14<\/strong><\/p>\n

In their previous meeting Nasarawa Amazons defeated Confluence Queens by 1-0 in match Day 6 through Ojiyuvwi at the Lafiya City Stadium in December 20, 2023, and it was that game the Lokoja landladies surrendered their unbeaten run.<\/p>\n

Okala’s girls are poised and ready to take a revenge when they welcome their North Central counterpart in the return leg and last home game of the NWFL regular season.<\/p>\n

Coach Sabo Okala face the team media after their workout on Monday morning to look ahead to Wednesday clash against Nasarawa Amazons at Iyamoh, Edo State. The Team Manager of Confluence Queens Mrs Tosin Olorunleke Ojo who also spoke to the team media, charged and urged players to go all out for victory when they face Nasarawa Amazons in their last home game of the season. “Confluence Queens VS Nasarawa Amazons is always a special game, not just for us but for the fans”, for everyone waiting for this game I hope will make you happy ” We are ready to win and we’re winning for the fans. She said<\/p>\n

She equally implore the team fans to come out in mass and cheer up the team to victory on Wednesday. “We need everyone for this last game, we are still fighting, still trying to win every game and we will try to do that until the end of the season”. She Concluded<\/p>\n

Confluence Queens has sealed their place in the Super Six after they defeated Abia Angels 2-0 last away in Aba, but needs a win against Nasarawa to go top of the group A if Heartland Queens fail to win against Dannaz<\/p>\n

The Ododo Ladies have not lost a game on their new home turf, the Iyamoh University Stadium, which they are ready to maintain and keep the record under the head Coach Sabo Okala<\/p>\n

Confluence Queens is placed in third position with 24pts from 13 games behind Heartland Queens and Nasarawa Amazons.<\/p>\n
