Former Asante Kotoko striker, Franck Mbella Etouga has urged his former teammates to take responsibility and turn around things for the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Porcupine Warriors have suffered six defeats in their last seven league outings, leading to them lying on the 11th position on the league log.<\/p>\n

However, the El Gouna striker who\u2019s on loan from Al Masry says it\u2019s time his former teammates took up the challenge to salvage the club\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been monitoring what is happening in Kotoko, even though I am not there, but I still follow the club every week when they play, and I can see that they are going through a difficult situation, but I want to encourage my former teammates to take responsibility and make things better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mbella, who was a fan favourite, further added that such low levels happen once in a while in football, but he believes his former club will never go down.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe situation now normally happens because this is football. And sometimes it can be good, but now is a bad time, so I just want all the supporters to stay calm, and I beg them not to neglect the team, because this team is one of the best in Africa, and it will never, ever go down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mbella won the 2021\/2022 league title with the Porcupines in which he scores 21 times before his departure.<\/p>\n
