{"id":16340,"date":"2024-04-06T02:55:27","date_gmt":"2024-04-06T02:55:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=16340"},"modified":"2024-04-06T02:55:27","modified_gmt":"2024-04-06T02:55:27","slug":"etoumbang-amongst-scorers-again-in-tkcs-derby-win","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/etoumbang-amongst-scorers-again-in-tkcs-derby-win\/","title":{"rendered":"Etoumbang amongst scorers again in TKC&#8217;s derby win"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><em>TKC are back in the promotion race following a 2-1 victory against Dragon<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The latest defeat is Dragon&#8217;s fourth in the seven games competition which puts them out of the promotion contest<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Frederick Etoumbang scored his 10th goal of the season in the game\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TKC of Yaound\u00e9 lead scorer and skipper Frederick Etoumbang was amongst the goal scorers on Thursday as TKC edged Dragon Yaound\u00e9 to keep their dreams of promotion to the MTN Elite One championship in tact.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TKC of Yaound\u00e9 defeated struggling city rivals Dragon by the odd goal in three on Thursday at the Bamendzi stadium to make it two wins in four outings, which puts them back in contention for promotion and narrows Dragon&#8217;s chances of achieving the same goal.<\/p>\n<p>Dragon woes in the eight-club tournament continued as they recorded a fourth defeat in four outings, despite Steve Patrick Akongo adding to his tally for the season.<\/p>\n<p>The got off to a perfect start for the multiple Cameroon champions as they had their noses in front after 19 minutes into the contest.<\/p>\n<p>Etoumbang crowned the great phase of the game for the game the experienced side with a goal in the 19th minute before Akongo leveled matters.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Nkomba won it for TKC with five minutes of regulation time left.
