{"id":16331,"date":"2024-04-05T09:53:32","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T09:53:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=16331"},"modified":"2024-04-05T09:53:32","modified_gmt":"2024-04-05T09:53:32","slug":"cameroon-provided-the-perfect-puzzle-marc-brys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/cameroon-provided-the-perfect-puzzle-marc-brys\/","title":{"rendered":"Cameroon provided the perfect puzzle- Marc Brys"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Recently-appointed Indomitable Lions of Cameroon trainer Marc Brys has revealed he picked the chance to coach Cameroon over other options because it provides the perfect opportunity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 61-year-old Belgian tactician was announced as Rigobert Song&#8217;s successor in the Indomitable Lions dugout per a ministerial decision announced on Tuesday, April 2.<\/p>\n<p>24 hours later, the trainer with an over 25 years experience says amongst others he settled for Cameroon because of the project.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Cameroon puzzle was perfect in terms of the sporting and financial aspects. It&#8217;s an exciting challenge to work in a different way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have never worked in a national team. We have to try to create a group with whom we don&#8217;t spend too much time,&#8221; he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Marc then revealed the other opportunities that he dumbed to settle for the Cameroon option.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Cameroon wasn&#8217;t the only team I spoke with in recent months. There was Ghana and a few weeks ago I had contacts from Tunisia. There were some Belgian clubs but I decided to take the Cameroon challenge,&#8221; he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Marc Brys jumps into a complex Cameroon football family that has known its fair share of polemics over the years.
