{"id":16315,"date":"2024-04-05T04:16:55","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T04:16:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=16315"},"modified":"2024-04-05T04:16:55","modified_gmt":"2024-04-05T04:16:55","slug":"mtn-elite-one-relegation-playoffskache-boris-late-double-take-mangwa-boys-closer-to-safety","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/mtn-elite-one-relegation-playoffskache-boris-late-double-take-mangwa-boys-closer-to-safety\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN Elite One relegation playoffs:Kache Boris late double take Mangwa Boys closer to safety"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bamboutos&#8217; Kache Boris Fon scored twice in the final five minutes of the relegation playoffs clash against Astres of Douala this Thursday at the Omnisport Annex stadium in Yaound\u00e9 to ensure the Mangwa Boys pick up their second victory of the 2023\/24 MTN Elite One relegation playoffs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Astres were hoping to build on their rich form since the start of the playoffs and maintain their unbeaten run against a Bamboutos FC side that was also in full confidence after following their narrow 3-2 win against UMS of Loum last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>For coach Agbor Ernest it was another special game as he has to demonstrate his former employers made a mistake getting rid of him.<\/p>\n<p>The fans that were in attendance were made to wait as the early sparks of the contest were unproductive with both sides only coming close but failing to draw first blood.<\/p>\n<p>Bamboutos FC could have punished Astres on a number of occasions but Kache Boris and co were guilty of squandering gilt-edge opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Agbor adjusted personnel and tactically at the interval to maximize their chances of exploring spaces behind the Astres defense.<\/p>\n<p>The turning point of the game arrived when Kache dispatched a late penalty and scored the insurance goal at the 84th and 90th minutes respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Bamboutos FC protected the advantage to seal a second win in three and move into the comfortable section of the league table.<\/p>\n<p>Kache&#8217;s latest goal takes his season tally to 15 goals, making him the joint top scorer alongside Jules Armand Kooh of Astres.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92023 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
