The in-form forward\u00a0 didn&#8217;t hesitate to strike a brilliant shot past the goalkeeper for a 1-0 lead.<\/p>\n<p>The goal set the tone for the match, as Yong Sport&#8217;s relentless attack continued stretching Victoria United&#8217;s defense.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Ndikum Blaise&#8217;s YOSA attempted to stifle Victoria United&#8217;s offensive prowess by assigning Lovette Asongwe Atangche to shadow Richmond Nji, highest goal scorer for the limbe-based outfit.<\/p>\n<p>This tactical move proved effective in the first-half, preventing Nji from making significant contributions to the game.<\/p>\n<p>The first-half was a spectacle of excitement, with both teams creating numerous scoring opportunities. However, there was no changes on the scoreboard, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the second-half.<\/p>\n<p>As the second-half unfolded, Coach Pantev Dimitar made a strategic substitution for Victoria United, bringing in Kwena Perry for Nghokayi Ngu Maxwell. With the YOSA skipper now closely guarded, Yong Sport was forced to adapt and involve other players in their offensive scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Victoria United&#8217;s efforts, Yong Sport managed to extend their lead with a goal from Elton Ndewiyi.<\/p>\n<p>Victoria United, showing resilience, managed to claw back into the game with a penalty awarded at the 87th minute .Referee Oumar Matechuet Amoroso deemed Anye&#8217;s touch on Nathan dangerous, awarding the white and black a spot kick.<\/p>\n<p>Richmond stepped up to take the penalty. He sent the Keeper Anye to the opposite direction. Nji&#8217;s successful conversion gave Victoria United a glimmer of hope.<\/p>\n<p>The introduction of Junior Djacba, Ngong Lendy Kwa will see a free flow of balls to Nji, creating danger for YOSA.
