Yanga are looking to sign reinforcements at both ends of the pitch at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Miguel Gamondi needs to strengthen several areas this summer and it\u2019s absolutely crucial that he gets it right, with their latest signings being most hit-and-miss. Few of the selected transfers can be regarded as 100% successful thus far.<\/p>\n

Yanga have only two left-backs Lomalisa Mutambala and Nickson Kibabage available and with age catching up on Lomalisa, they have turned attention to Imoro as a potential replacement.<\/p>\n

Today, Micky Jnr has been reliably informed that President of Yanga, Eng. Hersi Ally Said has already made contact to sign Ghanaian international Ibrahim Imoro, 24.<\/p>\n

Imoro hasn\u2019t played active football this season due to the unrest in Sudan that made him leave Al Hilal and will consider his options this summer if a decent offer arrives.<\/p>\n

Imoro and Chippa United failed to agree on a deal together last year and now continues as a free agent.<\/p>\n

Yanga are yet to present their offer as at the time of making this post but it\u2019s believed that the first contact established look very pleasing on both sides.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Citizens\u201d in recent times signed players from Ghana such as Bernard Morrison, Hafiz Konkoni and Augustine Okrah. It will be more exciting to see a lot of Ghanaians in the NBC Premier League.<\/p>\n

The NBC Premier League has become very attractive in recent times for players from Africa and beyond due to the mileage, the competitiveness, the financial impact and more.<\/p>\n

In addition to Yanga\u2019s interest, this publication can confirm that two other NBC Premier League clubs have enquired about Imoro\u2019s availability as we head into the final couple of months of the season.<\/p>\n

Imoro started his career with Windy Professionals before he joined 2017 Ghana Premier League newly promoted side Bolga All Stars. He left to sign a one-year loan deal for Karela United after Windy Professionals were relegated.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Thunder FC sold Imoro to Asante Kotoko on a four-year deal ahead of the start of the Ghana Premier League season. He made over 70 appearances for the Ghanaian heavyweights before Al Hilal came calling.<\/p>\n

Ibenge and Al Hilal started a project to revolutionize themselves in Africa Inter-Club Cup competitions before the unrest in Sudan caused the likes of Imoro, Lilepo and Jarjou to depart the club.<\/p>\n

Yanga are expected to return again to continue more discussions to bring Imoro to Tanzania.<\/p>\n

With Gamondi\u2019s style of play and especially how he like his full-backs to make the runs and send in decent crosses, it\u2019s a no secret the reason why the club is after a \u201cperfect Imoro.\u201d<\/p>\n
